Authoritative recognition of Lab Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds, so the lustre, hardness, and composition structure are the same as natural diamonds. Unlike imitation diamonds that are generally made from seed crystals such as glass or surface glass, they will not wear out or lose their lustre due to years of wear. The following are the recognitions of laboratory diamonds by international authorities.
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) deleted the word "natural" from its definition of diamonds in July 2018. In other words, Lab Grown Diamonds are all real diamonds as long as they meet the characteristics of diamonds.
Matthew Hall, director of the GIA Institute of the Gemological Institute of America, also said: Lab Grown Diamonds are real diamonds
