Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds, so the lustre, hardness, and composition structure are the same as natural diamonds. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) deleted the word "natural" from its definition of diamonds in July 2018. In other words, Lab Grown Diamonds are all real diamonds as long as they meet the characteristics of diamonds.
